Al-Madinah Chestermere Islamic Center offers the following prayers services:

Quran Classes

Quran Classes are offered at AMCIC for people of all ages.

Intensive courses are offered on a variety of topics such as:

  • Quran with Tajweed
  • Fiqh
  • Hadith Memorization
  • Arabic Grammer
  • Basic Islamic Knowledge
Exclusive sisters-only programs offered by qualified female scholars

  • Mawlid-un-Nabi ﷺ commemoration

  • Night of 15th Shaban (Shab-e-Barat)
  • Ashura/Muharram remembrance lecture/event
  • Special lectures/events to remember Prophet ﷺ honourable companions and pious religious figures

Zakah Distribution

Offering Zakah is a religious obligation of all Muslims, and is the third of the five pillars of Islam (right after prayer). It is a charitable practice that requires all able Muslims to contribute a fixed portion of their wealth – generally, 2.5% of savings – to help the needy.

Ramadan Activities

Al-Madinah Chestermere Islamic Center offers the following:
  • Iftar (Every Weekend)
  • 20 Rakat Taraweeh
  • I’tikaf in the last 10 days
  • Special event on the Night of Power (Lay-la-tul-Qadr)

Counseling for all ages and genders. Our Imams are available to answer any questions you have about your deen.
